The Registered Nurse NICU II position at North Suburban Medical Center is a critical role that requires advanced knowledge and skills in the care of patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and demonstrating a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to neonates, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research in neonatal care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification required within the first three months of hire.
- STABLE certification preferred.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Registered Nurse Diploma, Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable.
