The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring favorable patient outcomes through the skilled and compassionate application of nursing expertise. This role operates under general supervision and enhances professional nursing practice by coordinating patient care through the nursing process and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient needs and conditions to provide nursing care in the designated unit, ensuring each patient receives the appropriate and direct care required.
  • Evaluate patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current health status, to create personalized nursing care plans.
  • Administer nursing processes, such as medication delivery and treatments, to offer comprehensive and effective patient care.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of medical records with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Monitor patient responses to interventions and identify any additional actions needed to achieve established care goals.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to facilitate effective care planning.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as recognized by ANCC or national nursing organizations

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Required:
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
