Key Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and conditions to provide nursing care in the designated unit, ensuring each patient receives the appropriate and direct care required.
- Evaluate patient information, including medical history, diagnostic results, and current health status, to create personalized nursing care plans.
- Administer nursing processes, such as medication delivery and treatments, to offer comprehensive and effective patient care.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of medical records with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Monitor patient responses to interventions and identify any additional actions needed to achieve established care goals.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to facilitate effective care planning.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Required: Associate's Degree
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 1 year as a Registered Nurse
Preferred: 1 year in a clinical specialty as recognized by ANCC or national nursing organizations
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Required:
- Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state
- BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
