We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to oversee and streamline all facets of receiving operations at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate shipping documentation for various carriers, ensuring accurate representation of goods.
  • Efficiently pack orders to minimize transit damage while optimizing shipping costs.
  • Receive and organize daily shipments, ensuring materials are stored appropriately.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts of raw materials to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Keep detailed records of incoming purchase orders.
  • Update and maintain shipping logs and customs documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Monitor supply levels and request necessary materials for the department.
  • Process intercompany shipping requests effectively.
  • Handle shipments to external vendors according to specified requirements.
  • Manage returned products from vendors, utilizing ERP systems to determine next steps.
  • Track shipments throughout the logistics process, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to prioritize shipping schedules based on customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Preferred experience of 1+ year in a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs for a significant portion of the workday.
  • Ability to perform various physical activities including standing, climbing, and bending.
