Position Overview:
The travel nurse will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to obstetric patients throughout their journey, including pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.

Key Responsibilities:
The OB Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating and addressing the physical, emotional, and educational needs of obstetric patients.
  • Providing compassionate care and support during labor and delivery.
  • Administering medications and monitoring vital signs as necessary.
  • Assisting in surgical procedures, including cesarean sections.
  • Educating patients and their families about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans.
  • Documenting all patient interactions and care in the medical records.
  • Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment within the obstetric unit.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A valid RN license.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
  • A minimum of two years of experience in OB nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to perform well under pressure in high-stress situations.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
