We are seeking a skilled CNC Machining Specialist with a proven track record in operating diverse automated machinery within a contemporary machine shop. In this role, you will collaborate with our Advanced Machinists, managing equipment such as 3 and 5-axis CNC machines, waterjet cutters, and wire EDMs to fabricate components that meet precise specifications. Ideal candidates will exhibit meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the production of high-quality products that adhere to required standards. We value quick learners who are motivated to embrace new challenges and grow alongside our organization. Positions are available for both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines, Wire EDM, Water Jet, and other precision machining equipment.
  • Interpret blueprints to guarantee parts are manufactured according to specified tolerances.
  • Select and utilize appropriate tooling for various machining tasks.
  • Document and verify part dimensions and tolerances to maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct visual inspections of parts to assess surface quality and machining finishes.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new machinery and operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
  • Perform routine upkeep and preventative maintenance on machinery and tools.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while executing tasks.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the Engineering teams.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Three to four years of experience in operating general shop machinery.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Familiarity with Multi-Axis machines, Lathes, Grinding, and Turning equipment.
  • Ability to use inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Willingness to learn about operating Lathes and working with exotic materials.
  • Experience with Siemens NX and/or Esprit software is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Full body mobility, including the ability to twist, turn, bend, squat, and navigate stairs.
  • Able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to move around the facility to collaborate with team members.
  • Manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment.
