SUMMARY OBJECTIVE:


Oversee, evaluate, and actively manage all designated investment portfolios, which encompass trust, advisory, agency, corporate, and institutional accounts. Engage in continuous research while contributing to Asset Selection, Account Acceptance, and Compliance Committees.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Strictly comply with organizational policies and procedures, especially concerning investment management protocols, client objectives, and annual review mandates.
  • Deliver prompt and professional responses to client inquiries, maintaining effective communication with account administrators and clients.
  • Initiate actions to accurately execute security transactions.
  • Stay updated on economic trends and developments in capital markets.
  • Support and guide the activities of support staff on a daily basis.
  • Monitor, assess, and manage the investment portfolios of all assigned accounts, particularly those that are complex or critical to the organization's success.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives in both direct and supportive roles as appropriate.
  • Proactively engage with assigned client accounts while ensuring a high client retention rate.
  • Complete additional projects as assigned.
  • Maintain all professional qualifications and certifications while pursuing ongoing education to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Ensure the delivery of quality service and investment performance results for clients, aligning with account circumstances, client needs, and established industry benchmarks.
  • Provide technical and quantitative expertise to enhance internal systems and software used for performance measurements and presentation materials.
  • Conduct maintenance and reporting operations for performance calculations and presentations for individual and composite metrics.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This role does not entail supervising employees.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates within a professional office setting, routinely utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee is frequently required to: 1)

Type or otherwise engage with fingers; 2) Communicate verbally, conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately and clearly; 3) Hear and perceive sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction; 4) Specific vision abilities required include viewing a computer monitor and extensive reading, along with occasional travel as necessary.

Sedentary work may involve occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds and/or moving up to 25 pounds. This role primarily involves sitting, with some walking and standing.

TRAVEL:
This position requires extensive travel, which may include overnight stays.

REQUIRED/ PREFERRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:


A bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, including at least three (3) years in portfolio management. CFA or CIMA certification is required. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to foster new business development.
