Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting in Taunton, MA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Speech Services: Create and implement individualized speech therapy plans that align with student IEPs, state curriculum, and national standards.
  • Provide Direct Therapy: Deliver direct individual and group therapy sessions to students with varying communication needs.
  • Supervise Speech and Language Assistants: Provide clinical supervision and guidance to 1-2 Speech and Language Assistants to ensure they are meeting the needs of students.
  • Administer Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess student communication skills.
  • Attend IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and develop goals.
  • Consult with Colleagues: Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to develop and implement inter-disciplinary programming.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Gather and analyze data on student progress to inform therapy decisions.
  • Plan Daily Schedule: Create a daily schedule that meets the requirements for direct service minutes and utilizes indirect time effectively.
  • Foster Parent Involvement: Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and encourage their involvement in their child's therapy.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Massachusetts SLP License
  • Prior Experience in School Settings or Pediatric Populations
