About the Role

University Health is one of the largest employers in San Antonio, TX. We are a nationally recognized teaching hospital and consistently recognized as a leader in advanced treatment options, new technologies and clinical research.

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that prioritizes exceptional service and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Laboratory Manager as needed to ensure timely and accurate laboratory test results through processes compliant with accreditation standards and federal/state reimbursement agencies.
  • Oversee various technical activities and aspects of the Clinical Laboratories.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in medical technology or an appropriate biological/chemical/medical science from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Two years of clinical laboratory experience is required.
  • Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
