Job Title: Custodian - Night Custodian - 8 hrs/day (1.0 FTE)

Job Summary:

The North Clackamas School District is seeking a skilled and dedicated Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our schools. This is a full-time, permanent position working 8 hours a day, 260 days a year.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain the school building and grounds, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Restock supplies and materials as needed.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance as authorized by district maintenance staff.
  • Assist with building security and emergency planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of custodial experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move heavier materials using appropriate equipment.
  • Knowledge of state and local codes related to assigned trade/craft.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual and bicultural skills.
  • Experience with and knowledge of intrusion alarms, automatic fire alarm/sprinkler systems, HVAC systems and controls.
