We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control/NDE Inspector Level II to join our team at Holtec International. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Perform NDE inspections on projects, adhering to written procedures and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct weld inspections, completing applicable paperwork and issuing non-conformances reports for discrepant items.
- Use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures for mechanical inspections, completing applicable paperwork.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings correctly.
- Issue non-conformances reports and tag items appropriately.
- Minimum of 3 years of NDE experience.
- Experience as a mechanical (dimensional) inspector.
- Successful applicant will have a systematic approach to work, be detail-oriented, and able to finish assignments with little supervision.
- Must be currently qualified (or have been qualified in the prior three years) as a Level II weld inspections for Visual (VT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Magnetic Particle (MT) examination in accordance with SNT-TC-1A.
- Good computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Excellent communication skills, organizational, and time management skills.
- Good teamwork skills, participating in a team environment.
- Willing and capable of standing the entire shift.
- Willing and capable of working Off-Shifts to support company needs.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and principles to support working in a safe environment.
