The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, delivery, and inventory management, ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medications.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, delivery, and inventory management
  • Monitor and maintain adequate medication levels in storage areas
  • Perform routine rounds to patient care floors to deliver medication and supplies
  • Fills medication requisitions for outpatient care areas and research laboratories
  • Assess assigned medication storage areas for outdated medication, cleanliness, and appropriate stocking
  • Fills automated dispensing machines using barcode technology
  • Provide exceptional customer service to external customers, including nurses, physicians, and patients
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration in good standing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant time constraints and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
