Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in New London, Connecticut.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work with our clients in New London, CT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures using technical knowledge and good judgment.
  • Acquire and process patient studies, set up reading for physicians, and maintain accurate and complete daily records.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective examinations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nuclear medicine and adhere to hospital/departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
  • BSN from an accredited nursing program, and proper licensure.
  • Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine (Certified Nuclear Medicine).
