About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team at Oceans Behavioral Hospital Alexandria. As a Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing direct clinical services to our patients, including assessment, interventions, treatment planning, and discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and modalities.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community resources to promote long-term wellness and recovery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, incorporating new knowledge and skills into your practice.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling).
  • Minimum 0-1 year post-graduate experience in clinical practice, with a focus on mental health and substance abuse treatment.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and family therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
