Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in computer applications

Preferred:

  • Experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry and/or Emergency Room nursing
  • Relevant certifications and/or national nursing credentials

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
  • ACLS certification within six months of employment
  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License or an active Compact Registered Nurse License with New Jersey endorsement

Scheduling Requirements:

  • Evening shift, 0 hours per week, 3 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Monday to Friday, with every other weekend and holiday rotation

Essential Functions:

  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care within the healthcare system while adhering to established regulations and ethical standards.
  • Ensures safety in practice and applies evidence-based methods for patient care.
  • Reports safety concerns and medical errors as necessary.
  • Supervises task delegation and collaborates with the patient care team.
  • Utilizes the nursing process to customize patient care plans.
