Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at KPC Promise Healthcare LLC. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide cardio-pulmonary services to patients in accordance with the State Respiratory Care Practice Act and our hospital's policies and procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will administer and perform direct and indirect cardio-pulmonary services, including pharmacological and diagnostic agents related to cardio-pulmonary procedures. Your expertise will help implement treatment plans, disease prevention pulmonary rehabilitation, and diagnostic regimens prescribed by physicians using safe and aseptic techniques.
Qualifications- A graduate of an American Medical Association approved School of Respiratory Care.
- A current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential (i.e., CRT, RRT).
- A valid State Respiratory Care Licensure.
- Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, prioritizing, and critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Sufficient hearing, vision, and dexterity to perform duties safely.
Physical and Mental Demands:
• Physical: Walking - up to 40% Standing - up to 55% Kneeling - up to 1%
• Sitting - up to 5% Pushing - up to 4% Bending - up to 2%
• Squatting - up to 1% Pulling - up to 30% Reaching - up to 30%
• Lifting - up to 30lbs Wrist/Finger Movements - up to 90%
Work Environment: A fast-paced healthcare environment with moderate to high stress levels.
Required Certifications: CRT or RRT, BLS certification, ACLS certification. Salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
