Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Manage complex patient cases: Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, vented patients, and those requiring airway management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety: Implement isolation precautions, manage patient-to-patient ratios, and ensure accurate computerized documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in critical care nursing.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Experience: 1.5+ years of recent experience in critical care nursing, preferably in an ICU setting
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and other relevant certifications
