NaphCare is seeking a skilled Patient-Centered Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join our team at the Washington County Jail in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the physiological, psychological, and emotional needs of patients within the correctional system framework.
- Conduct mental health examinations, communicate findings, and respond to emergencies.
- Schedule and perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.
- Maintain mental health responsibility for patient management, including services provided by consultants and outside resources.
- Track healthcare activities for patients under NaphCare's responsibility.
- Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner with Psychiatric certification in Oregon or a Physician Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of relevant Psychiatric work experience.
- Current DEA registration and valid CPR certification.
