Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Worker to join our team at GLOBAL BUILDING SERVICES, INC. in Bakersfield, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain retail stores, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and restock supplies as needed
  • Perform general cleaning duties, such as dusting and disinfecting surfaces
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and vacuum cleaners
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in janitorial or housekeeping work
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and evenings
