Café Associate

Job Summary

As a Café Associate at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in preparing fresh food items daily for our members. Your responsibilities will include following recipes, preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken, and ensuring our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. You will also be responsible for properly wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh food items daily, following recipes and ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, including sweeping and cleaning the sales floor, and verifying expiration dates and disposing of lesser-quality food products.
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food, and maintain the sales floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with the team, and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification preferred.
