About the Role:

This part-time position (PRN) involves evaluating and treating patients with neurologically related physical disorders, including lower extremity function, mobility, vestibular skills, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental safety considerations. We prioritize evidence-based approaches, creativity, and collaboration to achieve durable outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat impairments, developing individualized treatment plans that address functional goals and promote optimal recovery.
  • Collaborate with experienced therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Utilize cutting-edge techniques and technologies to enhance patient engagement and participation in their treatment plans.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program required; Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
  • Certification in the state of Georgia is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and practices, as well as OSHA and infection control regulations.
  • Experience in treating neurologically related physical disorders is highly valued.
  • Strong planning, organizational, writing, and time management skills, along with excellent communication abilities, are essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required for travel between patient locations.
