Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Scotland Manor Health and Rehab. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for providing routine daily nursing care and services to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assisting with daily living activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, reporting changes in resident condition, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care, including vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant information.
  • Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor, LPN, or RN, as soon as possible.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Supervisor, LPN, or RN.
Requirements:
  • Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant in the state of [state].
  • One (1) year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Geriatric Nursing Assistant in this state.
  • Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
Working Conditions:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will work throughout the nursing service area, including drug rooms, nurses' stations, resident rooms, and other areas as needed. The position requires the ability to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends and holidays, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary.
