Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Current certification as a Respiratory Therapist (CRTT or RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • State license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Experience working in an intensive care unit (ICU), progressive care unit (PCU), or neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
