About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Parkridge Medical Center, a 270+ bed hospital located near downtown Chattanooga.
As a Registered Nurse in our Med Surg department, you will provide and coordinate care for patients, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver physical and psychological support to patients and their families.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in human growth and development, assessment, and treatment of patients appropriate to the ages served. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized plans of care and implementing treatments as needed.
- Administer medications, maintain equipment, and document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Promote customer service initiatives and strive to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
Requirements
- A graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing and current licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS certification is also required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation and Salary
The salary range for this role is estimated to be around $62,000 to $82,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
