Job Summary
\We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Prisma Health.
\About the Role
\This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced RN to provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family centered care.
\Clinical Competencies

- Demonstrates expertise in utilizing evidence-based practices and research in all areas of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes.\
- Incorporates knowledge of safety protocols, cost containment, and quality improvement throughout the nursing process.\
- Prioritizes patient, unit, and organizational priorities and incorporates them into the nursing process.\
- Ensures adherence to compliance and policy/procedures of the organization, including licensure renewal, assigned training, employee health screenings, time and attendance policy, dress code policy, patient confidentiality, infection control, and medication administration.\
- Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory agency requirements (TJC, DHEC, CMS).\
- Collects data and completes nursing assessments utilizing appropriate area and/or age-specific standards/policies and tools.\
- Develops individual plans of care based on the assessed needs of patients, validates these priorities with healthcare team members, and documents appropriately.\
- Provides direct care to assigned patients consistent with established nursing plans, performs specific tasks based on organizational, departmental, and/or unit policies and procedures within the RN scope of practice.\
- Bases plans of care for effectiveness, documents progress toward expected outcomes, and revises plans of care as needed.\
- Reports changes in patient condition and refers unresolved problems to appropriate healthcare team members.\
Requirements

- Associate's Degree in Nursing.\
- Required Licensure/Registrations/Certifications.\
- In lieu of 1 year of registered nurse experience, will accept successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or successful completion of a comparable residency from another organization.\
- $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.\
