Job Overview

Atlanta Rehabilitation & Performance Center is seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our sports medicine team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch athletic training services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs tailored to the needs of individual athletes and specific sports.
  • Administer appropriate immediate care for injured athletes on-site and arrange for further medical evaluation or treatment when necessary.
  • Create and manage rehabilitation plans for injured athletes to facilitate safe and timely return to play.
  • Communicate with physicians, local therapists, coaches, and administrators.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of injuries, treatments, and progress of each athlete.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe sports environment by inspecting and ensuring proper use of sports equipment and facilities.
  • Educate athletes about nutrition, hydration, and injury prevention techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sports medicine and best practices in athletic training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training.
  • Certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
  • Current or anticipated state licensure (GA).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate sports schedules.
  • New or anticipated graduates are welcome to apply.
