We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool team at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies Main Hosp. As a PCU Registered Nurse, you will provide top-notch care to critically ill patients in a technically complex environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing wellness and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
- Model proficiency through precepting new nurses and contributing to a culture of safety and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and skills in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.
