Objective and Responsibilities:


Develop comprehensive, precise, and timely cost estimates for earthmoving, underground utilities, grading, paving, and both flatwork and structural concrete for municipal agencies and private sector clients.

Review and finalize all bidding documents and proposals.


Oversee the management of projects that are bid or assigned, which includes contract analysis, submittals, procurement, invoicing, cost forecasting, and providing support to field personnel while fostering relationships with stakeholders and clients.


Key Job Functions:
Conduct Take-offs and Cost Estimates

Deliver all necessary information to the Contract Administrator for processing

Submit all required documentation

Participate in weekly safety meetings at job sites

Manage budgeting and forecasting, reviewing with management and site supervisors

Develop and maintain project timelines

Estimate, prepare, and oversee change orders

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibilities in heavy civil construction

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

Capability to operate in a high-output environment

Strong leadership and communication abilities

Proficiency in HCSS - Estimating software

Expertise in HCSS - Project Manager Software

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project

Must maintain a clean driving record

Must successfully complete pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings
