Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian to provide exceptional nutritional care for patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role focuses on developing and implementing personalized nutrition plans to promote optimal health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the treatment team to create tailored nutrition plans for patients
Facilitate educational classes and group sessions on nutrition, skill development, and health concepts
Attend and participate in patient treatment meetings to discuss and update care plans
Conduct regular patient interactions and rounding on wards to ensure adherence to nutritional guidelines
Attend monthly patient community meetings to address nutritional needs and concerns
Participate in patient program activities to promote healthy eating habits
Perform meal observations to ensure adherence to nutritional guidelines
Engage in planning and organizing food-related activities with the treatment team
Meet with patients individually to discuss their nutritional needs and concerns

Help manage and oversee the Nutrition School Meal Program software platform in collaboration with CSTC and department food managers, clinical nutrition manager, and menu specialist.


Who Should Apply:


Professionals with a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and Nutrition, and completion of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics education program.

Registered Dietitians with at least 24 months of recent full-time experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

Qualifications:
Valid Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
