Position Overview:
SOVAH Health - Danville is seeking a dedicated Echocardiography Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. Our facility is a 250-bed hospital recognized for its excellence, featuring the region's only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of diagnostic ultrasonographic procedures under the supervision of physicians/providers.
- Utilize independent judgment and initiative while operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures in accordance with established standards.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and supplies, ensuring an organized work area.
- Keep accurate records and assist with scheduling to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Ensure that appropriate orders are obtained and adhered to during all procedures.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Program in Radiologic Technology or Sonographic Technology is required.
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment are essential, along with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, with the ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- The American Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonography Registry (ARDMS) certification is required within one year of hire.
