Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and/or assisting with MRI procedures, utilizing correct anatomic positioning and adjusting technical factors of equipment to ensure high-quality images.

Responsibilities
  • Manage electronic data, process information, and review exams for proper positioning, technique, and identification.
  • Instruct radiology students and/or new staff on clinical and department requirements.
  • Perform visual maintenance and quality control checks, record results, and report to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure an adequate inventory of supplies, linens, and accessories.
  • Coordinate and schedule examinations.
  • Initiate intravenous access for contrast and/or radio pharmaceutical isotopes administration.
Requirements
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification (if radiologic technologist).
  • Meet one of the following: ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registered as an MR technologist or will acquire this within 12 months of employment.
  • Current BLS AHA Health Provider Card (or equivalent course).
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize concurrent responsibilities and demands.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of MR technologist experience.
  • Proficient in email and word processing systems.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
