Job Summary:
The Capture Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the analysis of high-value federal government contract pursuits for Strategic Resolution Experts (SRE) brand and capabilities. This position will serve as a resource across SRE's corporate operations, with a focus on the analysis and maintenance of the business development pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Perform data collection, analysis, and dissemination of critical capture information to support business development and capture operations.
- Business Development Intelligence: Provide business development intelligence to industry C-level executives, business development teams, and service delivery professionals through the coordination of preparation materials and coordinating opportunity updates.
- Market Research: Conduct market research regarding new business opportunities to support business development and capture operations.
- Solicitation Review: Review and analyze solicitation (RFP, RFI, RFQ, etc.) documentation as part of the opportunity analysis and proposal development process.
- Industry Events: Attend industry events regarding upcoming opportunities and support the business development and capture team in the analysis of presented information.
- Competitive Positioning: Drive new business opportunity-level competitive positioning assessments to support business development and capture operations.
- Insight Development: Leverage quantitative and/or qualitative rigor to transform competitive and customer information into insights.
- Communication: Synthesize, intuit, and effectively communicate findings into options, profitability implications, and/or business cases.
- Pipeline Management: Support SRE's business development and capture processes and practices by ensuring pipeline data is consistently updated and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are documented and maintained.
- Proposal Development: Support various proposal development activities, such as resume formatting, compliance reviews, and coordination with teaming partners.
- Pipeline Management Platform: Maintain and continually enhance SRE's pipeline management platform, collaborating with stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for improvement and performing the necessary modifications to make new capabilities available to end-users.
- Inter-Departmental Projects: Support various inter-departmental projects and initiatives as an extension of business development and capture.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of research techniques used in collecting, tabulating, evaluating, and presenting data.
- Knowledge of business development and capture methods and practices.
- Knowledge of analytical procedures and techniques used in organizing and conducting research and analyses of business development and capture operations.
- Knowledge of word processing, database, spreadsheet, and graphic computer software applications.
- Knowledge of Deltek Govwin, and Salesforce.
- Skill in, and advanced expertise, with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and SharePoint.
- Skill in creating and improving processes.
- Skill in business acumen.
- Skill in technical writing and presenting.
- Skill in defining problems, conducting research, collecting data, establishing facts, drawing valid conclusions, and formulating recommendations.
- Skill in conducting market research regarding new business opportunities.

- Ability to be well-organized and self-directed.
- Ability to conduct phone calls with high-ranking government personnel.

- Ability to apply and demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide guidance and accurate information.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations, special studies, and project reports.
- Ability to maintain a harmonious and effective working relationship with SRE employees and federal contracting industry staff.
- Ability to develop and execute a work plan for business development and capture operations and projects, including establishing and/or recommending goals and objectives.
- Ability to work well with groups and executive-level decision-makers within the federal contracting industry.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, including making presentations to C-level executives.
- Ability to uphold high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
- Experience: Two (2) years of professional experience in the areas of data collection and analysis, business acquisition, contract solicitation, business development, or capture operations.
- Preferred Experience: Professional GovWin experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $59,000 - $100,000/year. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. SRE considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Additionally, SRE adheres to all state and federal requirements regarding salary to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws.
Work Environment:
The primary work location of this position is Washington D.C. Metro area, remote work is allowed but not guaranteed. If you live outside the commutable area, travel expenses are not reimbursed to the primary work location.
