Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the care delivery team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit. As a RN PRN ICU 7p, you will be accountable for delivering exceptional nursing care, minimizing the risk of infection, and promoting a safe and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality nursing care while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to quality enhancement.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and evidence-based practices to provide best-in-class care.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure, either Texas or Compact, is required.
- BLS and ACLS certification is required and must be completed upon hire.
- PALS (PACU and ER only) certification is required and must be completed upon hire.
- ENPC and TNCC are preferred for ER.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in nursing preferred.
