Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse

Adventist Health Sonora is seeking a skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. This role requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
  • Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes.
  • Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
  • Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes.
  • Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
  • Acute care facility experience: Preferred
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) or RQIACLS: Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Healthstream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS) or RQIPALS: Required
