Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Comprehensive Health Services. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications and other healthcare products to patients.
  • Ensure the security of prescription drugs and pharmaceuticals, and control of the pharmacy inventory.
  • Participate in training and maintain current certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
  • Have and maintain current certification in HIPAA training.
  • Participate in training and maintain current certification in CPR.
  • Assist with the managing of day-to-day activities and prioritizing tasks.
  • Operate personal computer to access e-mail, electronic calendars, and other basic office support software.
  • Comply with all applicable Acuity standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for patients.
Requirements
  • Must have completed a formal Pharmacy Technician training program leading to a diploma, certificate, or an associate's degree.
  • U.S. Military Pharmacy technical school training certification (4P0X1, 68Q, or HM-8482) will also fulfill this requirement.
  • Two years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
  • Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver's License.
  • Must have a valid US Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration.
  • Requires a favorable security background check and drug screen.
  • Must sign an International Assignment Agreement (IAA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the IAA.
  • Must be current in all required certifications.
  • Shall attend a Pre-deployment Counter Terrorism training course prior to deployment.
  • Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
  • Shall demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs and the Acuity Medical Management Systems software.
Working Conditions

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; travel in Iraq is required by surface or air.
