About the Role

As a Loan Originations and Portfolio Manager at Signal Financial Federal Credit Union, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and revenue through effective loan originations and portfolio management. This position requires a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply lending regulations and internal guidelines.

You will be responsible for originating and underwriting consumer loans, analyzing loan applications, and maintaining open communication with branch networks. Additionally, you will cross-sell other potential loan products based on member needs and opportunities, and process consumer loans from origination to final approval, closing, and funding.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Originate and underwrite consumer loans, ensuring compliance with lending regulations and internal guidelines
  • Analyze loan applications, determining eligibility and guiding applicants through the loan process
  • Maintain open communication with branch networks, assigning new member accounts for follow-up and relationship building
  • Cross-sell other potential loan products based on member needs and opportunities
  • Process consumer loans from origination to final approval, closing, and funding

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of financial institution experience, with at least 1 year in consumer lending
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret and apply lending regulations
  • Proficiency in loan math calculations and automated spreadsheet development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image and work in a fast-paced environment
