Hospice Spiritual Care Counselor Role Summary:

This position involves providing spiritual support to patients and families facing end-of-life care. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and empathetic professional with experience working in hospice care or a related field.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique spiritual needs of patients and their families
  • Provide direct spiritual support through counseling, coaching, and education
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate records of spiritual care services provided

Essential Requirements:

  • Graduate degree from an accredited seminary or school of theology
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hospice care or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of hospice philosophy and principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
