Speech Language Pathologist Home Health Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Amedisys, a leading provider of home health, hospice, and high-acuity care. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients and families navigate the complex healthcare system.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
- Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state you are assigned to work.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at a college or university accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA).
- Current CPR certification.
