Join Our Team as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of California. As a Cath Lab RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of Magnet designated nursing excellence.

You will provide comprehensive care to patients, including assessing patient, family, and staff learning needs, delivering appropriate clinical education, and promoting effective working relationships.

As a Cath Lab RN, you will embody the essence of professional Registered Nursing, assuming both responsibility and accountability for patients within a designated time frame. You will utilize the nursing process and collaborative input from the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care, exemplifying the professional standards set forth by the American Nurses Association (ANA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care, including assessing patient, family, and staff learning needs, delivering appropriate clinical education, and promoting effective working relationships.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for patients within a designated time frame, utilizing the nursing process and collaborative input from the healthcare team.
  • Exemplify the professional standards set forth by the American Nurses Association (ANA), actively engaging in ethical considerations, educational endeavors, evidence-based practice, and research.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience
  • BSN or MSN degree
  • Current California RN license
  • BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • ACLS and PALS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of ICU or Emergency Department experience
  • Strong IV Skills
