The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking an exceptional Primary Care Surgeon and Clinic Nurse Specialist to join our esteemed team in the Primary Care Service at Penn Vet. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with veterinarians, students, and other healthcare professionals to deliver top-notch patient care.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Support surgical procedures, including pre-medicating, inducing, intubating, monitoring, and recovering patients.
  • Monitor anesthesia with a clear understanding of normal and abnormal conditions, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and laboratory results.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians, students, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
