Sanitation Specialist

Job Summary: The Job Center Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sanitation Specialist. This is a great opportunity for a temporary to hire placement in the sanitation department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular and end-of-run clean-ups and periodic cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Verify the cleanliness of equipment before releasing it to production to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in performing overhead cleaning in multiple departments and drain cleanings as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve cleaning and sanitation goals.
• Report any safety concerns or potential hazards to management.
• Participate in cleaning and sanitation projects as assigned by management.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including OSHA rules and regulations.
• Operate streamers and high-pressure hoses to clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and facility.
• Wear and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements:

• Previous experience in sanitation or a related field is preferred.
• Must pass a 10-panel drug test.
• Must have steel-toe boots/shoes.
• Must be detail-oriented and self-driven.
• Must be a team player.
