Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking for various events and programs
  • Work in a team environment to ensure efficient and effective food service
  • Provide excellent customer service to participants and guests
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Follow recipes and cooking instructions to ensure high-quality food products

Requirements

  • Preferred at least one year of culinary school or equivalent cooking experience
  • Preferred 2 years of professional cooking experience
  • Preferred proficiency with knife skills such as dice, chop, and julienne
  • A person of good character and able to follow directions
  • Willing to work a variety of schedules as needed, including some weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to work well with others in a team environment
