Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Project Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the field activities of multiple civil engineering projects, with a primary focus on bridge construction. This role requires collaboration with project managers and engineers to create a cohesive management team dedicated to delivering exceptional results. The ideal candidate will possess robust management capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of the construction process and project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain the field office tailored to project requirements.
- Thoroughly review contract documents, specifications, and submittals.
- Assist in developing the overall project schedule and manage it throughout the construction phase.
- Design and implement a site logistics plan for effective project execution.
- Evaluate and refine scopes of work for subcontractors.
- Conduct constructability assessments.
- Lead preconstruction meetings with subcontractors before each work phase.
- Direct field operations to align with project plans efficiently.
- Facilitate meetings with foremen to ensure clear communication.
- Engage in progress meetings with team members and stakeholders.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, as-builts, and project changes.
- Oversee the safety program and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 10 years in the construction sector, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience in scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project administration is advantageous.
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: Competitive salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 annually.
