Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team at Core-Mark. As a Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers' stores are properly stocked and presented with our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the training of new team members on pricing and setting customer shelving
  • Create customer store layouts, arrange delivery, and physically price and merchandise products at the customer's store
  • Submit proper forms for employee reimbursement, such as travel, auto, gas, per diem, hotel, etc.
  • Participate in company annual shows by setting up and tearing down of the convenience store display
  • Record unsalable merchandise when re-setting customer stores, in order for customers to receive credit
  • Assist with delivering and unloading of orders and returns
  • Maintain inventory of merchandising supplies, such as mylar tags, peg hooks, price guns, labels, etc.
Requirements
  • 6 months - 1 year experience in merchandising or retail
  • Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
  • Driver's license with clean driving record
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Merchandising and/or retail experience
