Your Role

As the Head of Social Services, you will oversee all social and psycho-social functions within our facility. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with direct care staff to enhance the psychosocial well-being of our residents.
  • Providing counseling and support to residents, families, and staff.
  • Acting as an advocate for residents, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and respect.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Current licensure by the State, with the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff.
