Host/Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team at Touch of Italy. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take Food and Beverage Orders: Accurately take orders from guests, ensuring all details are captured and communicated to the kitchen staff.
• Upsell and Promote: Offer suggestions and recommendations to guests, promoting our menu items and increasing sales.
• Manage Transactions: Process payments, handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, and provide change as needed.
• Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Ensure the dining area, tables, and surrounding areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Work as a Team: Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.

Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and move around for long periods, up to four hours, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Math Skills: Possess basic math skills and be able to handle cash accurately.
• POS System Knowledge: Have a basic understanding of point-of-sale systems and be able to operate them efficiently.
• Service-Oriented: Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, patience, and a positive attitude.
