In the role of a DME (Durable Medical Equipment) healthcare support specialist, you will be tasked with conducting essential fittings for custom knee braces. Your role will involve educating patients to ensure that each DME product meets its intended clinical objectives. Our aim is to provide our patients with a safe and comfortable experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Examine patient records to prepare for brace delivery and establish daily targets.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation on a daily basis.
  • Assist in guiding patients through the practice.
  • Measure and fit prescribed braces accurately.
  • Conduct adjustments and re-fittings as required.
  • Ensure precise recording of patient bracing data.

Essential Skills

  • Experience as a medical assistant (preferred)
  • Familiarity with medical office systems and protocols
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Social awareness and a service-oriented mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
