Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care and manage patient health effectively.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans based on thorough assessments of medical conditions.
  • Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care as necessary.
  • Adhere to established protocols and departmental guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid and unrestricted medical license from the Medical Board of California.
  • Board certification or eligibility in the relevant medical specialty is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, including residency training, is preferred.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Current DEA registration for prescribing medications is essential.
  • Experience in a community health setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Epic Electronic Health Records (EHR) is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Part-time schedule available, requiring 24 hours per week.
