We are seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team at the Veterans Health Administration. As a Primary Care Staff Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care to a defined panel of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care full-time and work as a member of a patient-aligned care team (PACT) to deliver comprehensive care to veterans.
- Contribute to the achievement of quality of care standards, efficiency, process improvement, and patient satisfaction within the Primary Care Division.
- Practice as an independent provider utilizing direct face-to-face visits, telephone visits, and veteran video connect visits (VVC).
- May be assigned to any of the outpatient clinics within the catchment area of the VA Portland Health Care System.
- Must be a board-eligible or certified physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Must meet VA professional and physical standards for employment.
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
- Competitive salary and annual performance bonus.
- Paid time off: 50-55 days per year.
- Traditional federal pension and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA.
- Free liability protection with tail coverage provided.
- No physician employment contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting.
Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:30pm (Varying Tours/ 8 hour days).
