Job Summary and Qualifications
">We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Surgicare of South Austin. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in an ambulatory setting.
">The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU or Surgery. A strong foundation in airway management techniques, vital sign monitoring, and IV catheter insertion and maintenance is essential. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently is also required.
">In this role, you will be responsible for preparing patient care areas, ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are provided, and demonstrating proper airway management techniques. You will also monitor patients according to policy, check dressings and operative sites, and provide a safe and comforting environment for patients and their families.
">To be successful in this position, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. A Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing is required, along with an active RN license and BCLS Certification upon employment. ACLS certification within 30 days of hire is also mandatory.

">We offer a competitive salary range of $93,000 - $114,000 per year, depending on experience.
