Job Overview

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our transportation team. This position involves driving a tractor-trailer and making deliveries to customers' drop-off sites. You will be responsible for unloading products, verifying deliveries, and managing cash transactions, all while ensuring safe driving practices and adhering to company policies.

About the Job

This role requires a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. You must also have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and be at least 21 years of age. Additionally, you should have no more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, and no driver's license suspensions in the past three years.

Key Accountabilities

* Deliver food products to customers on time and within budget
* Unload products from the truck and place items in the customer storage area
* Verify delivery of items with customers and resolve any issues promptly
* Collect money (cash or checks) where necessary
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and transactions
